Rugby First is delighted to unveil
latest weapon in tackling the fight against dirt and grime in the town centre.
We have taken delivery of The Glutton® which is the world’s most advanced urban electric vacuum as part
of our continued commitment to keeping Rugby town centre clean and welcoming.
The Glutton will enable us to
provide extensive deep cleaning in problem or hard to reach areas, like
pavement cracks, gutters and underneath street furniture. The electric cart can
work for up to nine hours before it needs to be re-charged, it has a large container
to collect litter, a long extendable nozzle to reach into cracks and there are
no carbon emissions.

Bikefest will return to Rugby on Sunday 17 May and for the
first time will include the Wall of Death attraction.
There is fun for the whole family, stalls, live music, food
and drink and children’s entertainment in this popular day out, which last year
attracted over 6,000 people into town to see the bikes and join in the fun.
This year we will be working closely with motorcycle groups
to put on a great event and if you don’t normally open up on a Sunday we can recommend
that it will be worth your while!
