Rugby Dunsmore Rotary Club has set up a series of 30 minute Zoom calls so that children can ‘Talk to Santa’ and not miss out on the Christmas fun during the COVID-19 pandemic. All profits generated from the £5 fee will be shared 50:50 amongst local charities and the Friends of St Cross 65th anniversary appeal. The Christmas tree outside St. Andrew’s church is a very special one, as it gives people a chance to remember loved ones and raise funds for Myton Hospice. By making a donation to the charity people can have a message attached to the tree. Sponsor forms can be found in print editions of the Rugby Advertiser and also at Blackham Opticians in Albert Street.
