Mack Hair has scooped first prize in Rugby First’s best Christmas Shop Window competition for their winter wonderland display of snowy peaks, reindeer and fir trees.
24 local businesses took part in the competition, which for the first time invited the public to choose their favourite festive display. Almost 2,500 votes were placed via Facebook, with more than 500 received for Mack Hair for them to be crowned the winner.
Co-owner Claire Gillooly at Mack said: “We are delighted to have won this competition – especially as it is the first time that we have entered! This year has been so miserable we wanted to welcome customers back to the salon after the November lockdown with a display that would brighten up peoples’ day. We would like to thank Abel Illustrations for the painting and Social HQ for the balloon arch who created our festive display and for all of our lovely customers for taking the time to vote for us.”
