The coronavirus pandemic is posing a huge challenge for businesses, forcing them to think more creatively about their offer and how they can adapt to customers’ needs like never before. The food and drink sector in particular is demonstrating their resilience by launching takeaway, deliveries and collection services – some of which are detailed in this month’s update.

April update

In the month since our last e-news, our town centre has been in lockdown due to the coronavirus crisis. This has seen our retailers having to quickly adapt to cope with the imposed restrictions on trading and social distancing in an unprecedented situation of uncertainty.

Rugby First is open and here to support our town centre businesses. We are continuing to keep the town centre clean and safe, promoting the business activities to circa 10,000 social media followers and working closely with partners to formulate plans for the economic recovery of the town centre.
